THE ELEGANT SEAL DIFFERENCE

Curated designer curtains.
Uniquely yours.

A room your guests remember. A home that feels entirely your own.

Luxury lives in the details: a beautifully placed border, a fine decorative seam, two fabrics joined in just the right proportion. Our curated designs bring texture, movement and personality to your windows, with a sense of occasion you can enjoy every day.

Begin with the feeling you love. We help compose the fabric, colour, heading and finishing around your room, so the result feels personal from across the room and rewarding to discover up close.

THE WHOLE WINDOW, CONSIDERED

Inside. Outside.
Distinctly your home.

Start with the space and the way you want it to feel. We bring the fabric, heading, mechanism and finishing details into one recommendation.

STYLE WITH SUBSTANCE

Your curtains should
do more than match
the sofa.

Personality, in the weave.

Botanicals, quiet textures, lustrous surfaces and expressive patterns. Choose cloth for the way it drapes and relates to your home, then confirm its composition and performance with a physical sample.

Balance, in the room.

Feng Shui-informed colour and material choices can be part of your styling consultation, alongside practical daylight, privacy, proportion and your own preferences.

Character, in the finishing.

A botanical border, a finely defined join, a sculpted sheer. Specially curated designer details turn your chosen cloth into a composition shaped around your window and your personality.

Curtains & blinds.
For the space you live or work in.

Different spaces ask different things of a window. Start with yours, then explore the light, privacy and styling choices that matter.

FABRIC IS ONLY THE BEGINNING

Same cloth.
A different silhouette.

01 · WHAT THE FABRIC DOES

Light & privacy

Sheer for filtering; dimout or blackout for the night layer. Select the actual cloth and lining for the room.

02 · HOW THE CURTAIN FALLS

Heading & design

S-fold, double pleat or eyelet. Each gives the same fabric a different silhouette and needs suitable hardware.

03 · HOW YOU USE IT

Operation & finish

Manual or a compatible motorised track; then agree fullness, stack-back, hems, trims, shaping for suitable fabrics and fitting.

S-fold / ripple

Continuous waves give the window a clean, flowing rhythm.

FABRIC LIGHT CONTROL · WITHOUT A PELMET

Dimout to blackout.
Notice the fabric. Then the gaps.

Move the slider to see less daylight passing through the closed curtain fabric. The indoor lights stay off. With no pelmet above the track, daylight can still enter through the top gap, even at the blackout setting.

01

Through the fabric

The dimout example has a visible glow through the cloth. The blackout illustration removes that transmitted glow.

02

Around the curtain

The uncovered top, side and floor gaps remain a separate path for daylight. Blackout fabric alone does not seal the window.

Real curtain references

Three aligned views of the same bedroom showing bright daylight through sheer curtains, reduced light through a closed curtain, and a much darker room behind blackout curtains without a pelmet.
Sheer to blackout · no pelmetThe same bedroom moves from sheer-filtered daylight, to a closed curtain with a warm glow, to blackout cloth with the room much darker. With no pelmet, the final result still depends on light at the top and edges.
Closed dimout curtains with daylight glowing through the fabric and visible gaps at the top, sides and floor; no pelmet.
Dimout · no pelmetDaylight glows through the fabric and enters around the edges.
A substantially dark room with closed blackout curtains and narrow daylight gaps around the top, sides and floor; no pelmet.
Blackout · no pelmetThe blackout cloth removes the glow through the fabric, leaving the room substantially darker. Daylight is still visible around the uncovered top, sides and floor.

OUTDOOR BLINDS & OVERHEAD SHADE

Make the balcony
part of the home.

A west-facing balcony, an open patio and a glass roof need different solutions. Compare standard outdoor roller, wire-guided and zip systems by their edge guidance, fixing and exposure limits.

For overhead shade, explore skylight blinds and awnings. For a garden-facing room or sheltered patio, explore fabric blinds and outdoor systems suited to the opening.

OUR PERSPECTIVE · FENG SHUI & WINDOW STYLING

Beautiful to look at.
Balanced to live in.

Your windows shape the light, privacy and proportions of a room. They can also express the colours and materials that make a space feel personal to you.

Elegant Seal brings Feng Shui-informed colour and material considerations into the curtain conversation. Explore the traditional five-element palette alongside your home’s direction, furnishings and everyday needs.

Use this as a cultural and styling perspective. It does not replace practical light control or promise health, wealth or luck.
