How do I compare curtain quotations fairly?
Compare the complete specification, not a price per room alone. Window dimensions, fabric, layers, fullness, track, installation, motorisation and access all affect a made-to-measure quote.
What a useful quote includes
Ask for measured width and drop, number of openings, fabric codes, layers, heading style and fullness, track specification, installation and exclusions. Keep optional upgrades separate.
Why two similar rooms can cost differently
A wider opening, longer drop, additional layer or more complex fitting changes the amount of material and work. The property label alone does not define the specification.
Avoid the incomplete comparison
A lower figure may describe different fabric, hardware or installation scope. Ask each provider to quote the same requirements before making a like-for-like comparison.
