Choose the silhouette separately from the fabric’s light control. These are the three heading designs shown on Elegant Seal’s current curtain page.
01 · WHAT THE FABRIC DOES
Light & privacy
Sheer for filtering; dimout or blackout for the night layer. Select the actual cloth and lining for the room.
02 · HOW THE CURTAIN FALLS
Heading & design
S-fold, double pleat or eyelet. Each gives the same fabric a different silhouette and needs suitable hardware.
03 · HOW YOU USE IT
Operation & finish
Manual or a compatible motorised track; then agree fullness, stack-back, hems, trims, shaping for suitable fabrics and fitting.

S-fold / ripple-fold curtains
S-fold describes the repeating waves formed by a compatible heading and track system. It can be used with a sheer, dimout or blackout specification. The look comes from the heading geometry and cloth, not from an opacity category.
A double-pleat heading gathers the fabric into pairs of sewn pleats. Often called a double pinch pleat, it produces a defined top and a more tailored fall. The fabric can still be sheer, dimout or blackout.
Eyelet curtains hang from rings set into the top of the fabric and move along a suitable pole. The visible rod and ring finish become part of the room’s design. Eyelets are a heading choice, independent of fabric opacity.
